By downloading, installing, or using Notaoko, or by accessing this website, You agree to comply with these Terms without modification and all relevant applicable laws. If You do not agree to any of these Terms, You may not use the Software or this website.
These Terms are in addition to any terms that may apply to You under a Licence or other applicable agreements. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these Terms shall prevail.
Upon purchase, You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Notaoko on up to two (2) computers that You own or control. This licence is for personal or commercial use.
You are responsible for obtaining the relevant hardware and software equipment and paying all charges necessary to access and use the Software.
Notaoko offers a 7-day free trial with full functionality. The trial allows You to evaluate the Software before purchase. After the trial expires, a licence purchase is required to continue using the Software. We encourage You to thoroughly test Notaoko during the trial to ensure it meets Your needs before purchasing.

"Notaoko" is a trademark of Formal Technology Ltd. Apple, the Apple logo, macOS, and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
Formal Technology Ltd does not transfer title to any Software or site content downloaded or used by You. The Software and site content, including its selection and arrangement, is owned by Formal Technology Ltd and is protected by copyright and other laws.
Your purchase grants a licence to use the Software, not ownership of the Software itself. All intellectual property rights in the Software remain with Formal Technology Ltd.
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT and other taxes. The final price at checkout will include applicable VAT, sales tax, or other local taxes based on Your location, as calculated and collected by our payment processor.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all tax calculations and remittance on our behalf. By making a purchase, You agree to Paddle's terms and conditions.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Notaoko doesn't meet Your needs, we'll refund Your purchase within 30 days of the original purchase date, no questions asked. To request a refund, simply email us at support@notaoko.com with Your order number or the email used for purchase.
Upon refund, Your licence key will be deactivated. You may purchase again in the future if You choose to do so. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Your licence includes free updates to the current major version. We may release updates to fix bugs, improve performance, or add features. Updates are optional but recommended. Formal Technology Ltd may make improvements and/or changes to the Software at any time, with or without notice.
Notaoko is designed to operate locally on Your computer. Your documents, notes, and data are stored locally and are not transmitted to our servers. The Software may periodically check for updates and verify licence status.
This website contains a Privacy Policy that complies with GDPR. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. By using the Software or this website, You agree to comply with the Privacy Policy.
If You use AI features within the Software, text may be sent to Your configured AI provider. By default, this connects to a local server on Your computer. If You configure a cloud-based provider, their terms and privacy policies apply to that data.
The Software and all site content are provided "as is" and "as available". Formal Technology Ltd expressly disclaims, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any warranties of any kind with respect to the Software and site content, either express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.
Without limitation, Formal Technology Ltd gives no warranty that the Software is virus-free or as to its interoperability with any hardware, software, or content. Any decisions based on information contained in site content are Your sole responsibility.
Where applicable law prohibits or limits exclusion of warranties as set out above, Formal Technology Ltd excludes, disclaims, and limits such warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Formal Technology Ltd and all other persons involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Software shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, business interruption, or damages of any other nature that result from the use of, or inability to use, the Software, even if Formal Technology Ltd has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no case will Formal Technology Ltd's liability for damage and loss (whether in contract, negligence, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount You paid for the Software licence.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude the liability of Formal Technology Ltd for death or personal injury arising from negligence.
You shall indemnify Formal Technology Ltd and its officers, agents, employees, and service providers and hold them harmless in respect of all losses, costs, proceedings, damages, expenses (including reasonable legal costs), or liabilities howsoever incurred as a result of any claim by a third party resulting from a breach by You of any prohibition or restriction contained in these Terms.
This licence is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if You fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, You must destroy all copies of the Software. Formal Technology Ltd may deny or suspend access in the event of late or non-payment of any fee due.
Formal Technology Ltd may make changes to these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Changes will be posted on this website. If You access the website or use the Software after changes have been posted, You shall be bound by such changes. Frequent review of these Terms is recommended.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Where this document is translated into a language other than English, in the event of any dispute arising with respect to its interpretation, the English language version shall prevail.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
